Synopsis
A mysterious troupe of players tell the story of Pippin, son of Charlemagne, a young prince who is searching for his place in the world. Pippin undergoes a number of fantastical episodes, including going to war with the Visigoths, deposing his father, becoming a tyrant, fleeing to the countryside and falling in love, before facing his Grand Finale.

Pippin contains a masterful score by Stephen Schwartz, with upbeat pop-inspired numbers that propel the story along with wit and energy.
